Fluid-Bag attended ELGI AGM 2023
The European Lubricating Grease Institute (ELGI) held their Annual General Meeting 2023, from April 29 to May 2 at the Marriott Hotel Leidseplein in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The conference provided a valuable opportunity for industry professionals to network and engage in collaborative meetings.
From Fluid-Bag, our Sales & Marketing Manager Henrik Kass, and Account Manager Solange Nylund, attended the event with a tabletop exhibit.
“As expected, the sustainability was the main subject that everybody was talking about, and it was also in several of the presentations of the conference. This makes me happy because that is one of Fluid-Bags strongest points and we in the front of others here“, says Henrik Kass.
Sustainability in focus
Our colleagues reported that the conference opening session with experts in the field of grease and lubricants talking about sustainability, trends, and the future “rules of the game” was especially interesting.
“Market information and statistics were also important to give perspective. The evening cocktail reception gave us a great chance to chat with other colleagues and customers in a more relaxed environment”, says Solange Nylund.
She continues:
“All in all, very positive comments were received from colleagues in the segment. Regarding our solutions, many of the participants saw a great opportunity for Fluid-Bag to “shine” now that all focus is on sustainability. The fact that our products are manufactured with a small amount of plastic compared to our competitors was seen as an obvious advantage.”
“A lot of familiar faces”
Industry representatives that have not heard about Fluid-Bag before thought confirmed that we have a strong concept. Some of them were surprised to learn that our solutions can be adapted to many more industries and liquids, beyond lubes and greases.
“The ELGI annual meeting was, as always, a good conference with a lot of familiar faces, but also new people and companies. We had many fruitful discussions and a fair amount of new information”, concludes Henrik Kass.
